John Postlethwaite and Fraser Houlder, the founding partners, have over 40 years combined experiences in successful brand management and sports (albeit mainly in male sports!!)…
Our intention is to use these challenging experiences to make a real difference to female and mixed gender sports.
John is a commercial entrepreneur who has had significant success in both the corporate FMCG sector and sports industry. John spent the first 15 years of his career in various sales and marketing roles at multi-national companies such as Imperial Foods, Nabisco Group and Pepsi-Cola.
John then entered the sports industry to become Commercial Director of the Benetton F1 Team in the mid 90’s where he secured several high profile sponsors who were new to the sport including Gillette, Bitburger, Federal Express and AKAI.
John left to set up his own operation, BSI, where he worked across a number of different sports, including; Football, Cricket and various motorsports. BSI secured the rights to the FIM World Speedway Championships and John built this into the fastest growing motorsport series in the world. After 10 years this business was acquired by the world’s largest sports marketing company; IMG.
Fraser has worked in the sponsorship industry for more than 15 years, latterly as General Manager for BDS Sponsorship.
Fraser has worked for a wide range of rights holders and secured several high profile sponsors for properties as varied as The World Squash Championships, Saracens Rugby Club and London City Airport through to the Arena Convention Centre Liverpool, Bluewater Shopping Centre and The London Eye.
Fraser has also created and executed numerous consultancy projects for both sponsors and rights holders alike. Fraser authored an industry leading book which was published by SportBusiness; “Sponsorship Measurement and Evaluation”, demonstrating his excellent and in-depth understanding and knowledge of the global sponsorship marketplace.
